Ty is one of the loudest, craziest (in the best way possible!) and funniest people I know. Hand over my heart, honest. She's full of life and brings the party to wherever she's at. Tylena is one of the strongest women I've had the chance to meet, and although she's got her share of hard days, she's takes a positive look at life. Including the fact that I made her get up early to go out into the Sauna (aka Florida's humidity) and take photos. Rough. But she killed it, so hopefully she's not still mad about that. ;)

One of the things that I love about Jax STP is that you get to meet SO many new people! Sometimes life throws you a little treat, though, and you get to have one of your good friends from high school days come along too! Amelia M & I were friends in high school, but we've definitely gotten closer in the past two years, even with her being away in Ames for school. Partially because of Amelia, I've been able to get to know her team a little. These girls have some crazy fun together, let me tell you. They asked me to snap some photos of them before we all split up, and I couldn't have been more thrilled with how they turned out!

Team Poiema | Portraits | Jacksonville, Fl

This team is one of the first teams outside of my own that I started to get to know early on in the summer. Chelsey (Poiema's team leader) is good friends with our leader, Megan is besties with Tylena from my team, and Katie goes to school a little over an hour away from where I live! They all are suuuuper sweet—anyone would feel at home right away with these girls! You better believe that I'll be making roadtrips to visit, and I definitely can't wait for Main Event in October! Poiema, thank you so much for letting me capture your sweet faces & spirits...be sure to keep in touch to share how God moves on your campuses next year!

This is Jessica. Also known as J-Blunk, J-Beebs, baby bear, or Jessca. She loves running, brushing her teeth, Josh Turner, having polynomial long division races, and dislikes Taylor Swift and when bananas turn brown. This gal is hilarious and just like a sister to me....I'm going to be sad to not have her around to hug at the end of the summer! Good thing I've decided that a road trip is in order next year to Lincoln, Nebraska for a visit. ;)
